freaky friday

yep, it has been awhile, but in that while, so much has happen. here's a little update
-wedding plans are kinda rolling. we think we are set on a place, the clarion hotel in northampton. it is really nice and the price is pretty good. jenn and i went to a wedding show and we are going to go to another one with my mom i think. they are fun so if you would like to come, let me know. a lot of good food and goodies to get. i can't wait to go dress shopping and get some other things in order. just a little at a time. and knowing that there are people that really want to go really makes me look forward to june 9th 2007.
-living with ken as always is awesome. we just celebrated our year and 10 months this month and let's just say, it was an AMAZING day :-) hohum ... curse the hotdog that is coming this weekend. and speaking of problems ...
-while working at school on wednesday, i just knew it was going to be a bad day. so while playing ATMOS, the game about the atmospshere that i made up, i was moving through my small classroom and while trying to step over a chair, i either stumbled a little or she pulled out her chair at the same time, and well, my toenail on my big toe was basically ripped off, but not entirely. on my way to the nurse's office, i felt lightheaded and almost caused a code blue in the school. thank goodness my mom works there, bc i def. needed her there that day. she took me to the hospital bc that is where i needed to be. the nurse said that it should only take 20mins but since my body apparently does not like to numb when it needs to so it took about an hour to get my toe completely numb and about 15 shots of numbing liquid. and needless to say, whatever he had to do, which included removing my toenail and then stickingn it back on so something inside of me wouldn't close up and prevent the other nail to grow back, hurt like a bitch. so because of this, i didn't have to work today or yesterday. it def. was not a simple procedure and it really sucks. i have to keep my foot elevated so i am here in the apartment with my foot up, sex and the city, the newpaper, grading to do, movies and everything else that can be near me. life pretty much stinks right now and so do i bc i haven't showered in two days, doctors orders. def. going to try that today. but i get a fun looking shoe and i get to bandage up my foot every day. awesome awesome
-ken is stressing out about life and what not. i am trying to help out, but i feel like right now, i am not helping that much bc he has to do a lot of stuff around here now that i am hurt. i really can't stand on my feet of that long before it starts to hurt. so i try to do things little by little, but like laundry needs to get done and the floor cleaned and i don't want to make him do it. i can't even cook for that long! so i am trying to not complain and do as much as i can around here. it was pretty bad the first two days but today is much better.
-hmmm ... not much else. i am currently obsessed with the following:
lindsay lohan, sex and the city, futon, saltines, peperoni pizza, late mornings, chatting online, getting caught up, music, driving, teaching, being sarcastic, the big e, being called cute, sexy and so in love after almost two years
